Who We Are & What We Do

The Greentree Neighborhood Association was started in 1960!

The Association sponsors a variety of annual events and ongoing programs.

Events

These are designed to build community, foster relationships with neighbors, but mostly to have FUN!

Programs

The Association currently also hosts...

An organized voice for neighborhood concerns and interests

In 2023, GTNA organized a neighborhood Traffic Safety Survey. The Greentree Traffic Safety Survey was submitted to the Madison Traffic Engineering department, who are looking into the suggestions, prioritizing projects, and identifying possible ways to move forward on some of the suggestions. We will keep you posted when we learn more. You can download a copy of the submitted report here.

Did you know?

Ever wonder about the concrete display in front of our neighborhood sign off of Whitney Way? The previous signage, shown at the right, was a collaborative effort with students at the then-Fisk (now Anana) Elementary. After many years of greeting neighbors, the sign had to be replaced after being badly damaged when hit by a car. The old sign lives on in spirit and is a cherished part of our neighborhood history!
